At our group runs, sometimes we have a vendor come out to promote products or local races. This week we had 110% Play Harder come out to promote their compression sleeves. Since I wasn't planning on running far (note: My training has been complete garbage this week!), I figured I'd try on a knee sleeve. It's been really warm, again, but since I was only planning on two miles, it was worth it to test the sleeves out. They also have socks, calf sleeves, and other clothing.
After getting fitted, I slid my sleeve on. It felt really comfy, but still snug like a compression sleeve should. I'm not a big fan of running in compression gear because I hate feeling constricted. This moved with me as I ran, and still gave me enough support during my two miles.
The best part of the sleeve comes after your workout. Each item comes with an ice pack that fits in a pocket. In this case, the ice pack went over the knee. I love the idea of not having to wrap an ice pack around your knee/leg/calf/whatever and letting it drip. If you're looking for a new compression sleeve, I definitely recommend 110%!
