Since I was originally going to be in New York this year, I figured I would end up at the Village Halloween Parade. Since I'm staying home, I still have a party to go to! It's taken me a long time living in Jacksonville to meet anyone (awful work hours will do that to you). I volunteered to bake for the party, and I've already found about 48 recipes on Pinterest I want to try. Everyone could end up really fat...
Hands down, Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love themed-anything, and especially themed parties!
During my last trip to Walmart, I stumbled on these - Halloween themed Oreos! They're dyed orange, but they still taste the same, which is good. Orange flavored Oreos sounds terrible. As do pumpkin, but that's a topic for another day. We were having a decorating party at work (our section theme is "The 50's) so I figured I'd bake some treats to go with our pizza. I followed my Oreo Brownie recipe, but just used these orange ones instead. The result?
So cute/yummy! I probably won't make these for the party since I have so many other recipes I want to try, but these are a great addition to any Halloween-themed dessert table!
Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! And sometimes, real food!
